The design of the Snaptain S5C is very similar to conventional drone designs. It is a really good design in terms of aerodynamics, which means that when you are flying the drone, it will get minimum resistance in the air.
Also, it comes with the red and blue LEDs on the top, which will help you find the drone visually but other than that, the LEDs doesn’t have other function. The only problem with the design of the Snaptain S5C is that it is not a foldable design, which can be a deal-breaker for those folks who want to carry it in their backpack.
When it comes to design, the Snaptain S5C comes in a plastic build, which is very common in drones at this price point. The overall build quality is good enough to handle the minor crashes, but we wouldn’t recommend it because of its plastic build. When it comes to budget drones, Flying Experience is one area where they struggle the most, but we are happy to inform you that it’s not the case with the Snaptain S5C. The whole flight operation with the drone is very simple. You can start the drone with a single key, which means that you won’t have to worry about landing and taking off the drone.
When it comes to features, the Snaptain S5C comes with tons of them. For starters, you get the Altitude hold feature, which allows the drone to hold the Altitude in the air. It’s a great feature for you if you are into aerial photography or videography. On top of that, it also comes with a gravity sensor, which basically allows you to control the drone by moving your smartphone at different angles.
The Snaptain S5C also features the Wi-Fi Warning system, which timely alerts about the weak signals so that you don’t lose connection with the drone. Also, it comes with a headless mode, which allows you to move the drone in any direction you want. Another highlight of the Snaptain S5C is that it comes with voice and gesture control, which are two features that you won’t find in many drones at this price point.
The drone also comes with intelligent flight mode, which allows you to draw the path for the drone via your smartphone, and the drone follows that path automatically. Our overall experience with the Snaptain S5C was really good, and we don’t have many complaints about it.

The Quality of the footage won’t match the top-tier drones, but it will be decent enough to be used for casual usage. As the drone doesn’t come with any gimbal, so you can expect some shaking in the video. Overall, we don’t have any complaints because the Snaptain S5C offers the best camera at this price point.
Battery Performance
The official product page of the Snaptain S5C doesn’t specify the exact size of the batteries, but it comes with a bigger battery. According to the product page, the drone offers a flight time of around 16 minutes, but in our tests, we got a flight time of around 12 minutes. If you are flying a drone in a strong wind, you might get around 8-10 minutes of flight time.
When it comes to charge time, the battery takes around 80 to 90 minutes to fully charge. However, you can use the third-party fast charger to charge the device within 45 minutes. The overall battery performance of the Snaptain S5C is good, and it’s much better than many drones at this price point. We would also recommend that you buy the extra batteries with the drone to extend the battery life.
