DJI’s RoboMaster Robotics Competition (China)

RoboMaster is an annual robot competition which was first started in 2015. The idea of this tournament was first given by the DJI’s founder Frank Wang and now it commences every year with the joint support from the All-China Students’ Federation, Shenzhen City Government, and other stakeholders. 

RoboMaster Robotics Competition is the intercollege competition and different university students from china participate in this competition.  The T-DT team from Northeastern University (NEU) won the DJI’s RoboMaster Robotics completion 2019 and they bagged the £57480 ($75000) Prize Money.

Dronestagram (Worldwide)

Dronestagram is a community that is dedicated to drone photography. It has been around since 2013 and every year, the community holds an annual International Drone Photography contest which allows the professional as well as amateur photographers around the world to submit their drone photographed photos.

The prize money for this annual competition varies every year. The prizes for Dronestagram 2018 included the DJI Spark Fly More Combo, GoPro 7 with all of its accessories and DJI Osmo Mobile 2 Stabilizer. Moreover, the winners also get worldwide coverage in the popular Online News sites. 

Drone Champions League (Worldwide)

Drone Champions League (DCL) is a professional league where you get the live high-speed race series for drones. The completion features the 8 professional international teams which come with some of the finest drone pilots from around the world. 

The competition also gets worldwide coverage in more than 100 countries around the world. The DCL has been taken place in countries such as Germany, France, Belgium, Spain, China, Romania, Switzerland, and Liechtenstein. The event is not an ordinary event and it requires some serious drone flying skills and an invitation to participate in the event. 

The DRL Allianz World Championship (Worldwide)

The Drone Racing League (DRL) Allianz World Championship is a professional drone racing league that features the best drone pilots from around the world. The DRL recruits the best pilots and they fly their drones in the 3D courses to demonstrate their skills.

The DRL uses the 60 cameras per drone to provide the best possible view. Also, the event broadcast on popular sports networks such as NBC, NBC Sports, Twitter, Sky Sports, ProSieben, Groupe AB, OSN, and FOX Sports Asia.

UAV Challenge (Australia)

UAV Challenge is an annual Drone flying competition that was first started in 2007. It is one of the largest robotics challenges in the world and it offers the prize money of $70,000 to the winner. The competition aims to promote the use of drones for search and rescue and medical delivery.

The competition includes various challenges such as Medical Express Challenge, Search and rescue challenge and Airborne Delivery Challenge. The competition is open to the people and adults as well as college students can participate in the event and get some good rewards.
